Small Business Shoutout: Wax N Scent Studio

Wax N Scent Studio

15 North Main Street

New Hope, PA 18938

This review deserved to be written and posted a few months ago, but I was sidetracked by the holidays and am only getting to this now.

In November, my best friend Tye and I took a girl’s trip to New Hope, PA. We went to relax and have an overall good time to catch up, bond, and unknowingly (because she’s sneaky) celebrate my birthday.

As a gift to me, Tye booked us a session with Moe, the owner of Wax N Scent Studio, for a Melt N Pour Workshop. We were able to pick our container, choose from a variety of scents or a mix of them, and decorate the candle with flowers and glitter.

We got lucky since it was around dinner time, and we had Moe and the shop all to ourselves. We enjoyed talking, laughing, making our candles, and getting to know Moe. She was great and entertaining, and she didn’t shy away from questions or explaining things about her studio and candle-making process.

Along with making a personal and unique candle, the studio is a BYOB, so Tye and I enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and some snacks while we crafted. This was a fun experience that I hope to do again, whether back at Wax N Scent or even at home, although I don’t know if they would come out as well if I did it myself.

I’d never done this before, but I love candles, crafting, and hanging out with my best friend. Plus, I’ll always have a candle to remember this fun time and celebration, something I am grateful for.

This experience is great for small parties, date nights, and families. I recommend booking yourself for a session if you are in the area.
